Thanks for confirming the double standard thing, its just as I thought. Would I be wrong to also assume that the parents react differently depending on the age of the man who's showing the interest in their kids ?

I'm in my early 20's which is why I feel especially awkward admiring the cuteness of a boy openly in front of their family, however if I was in my 70's or 80's would it be more acceptable as I would be seen as the friendly elderly grandpa type who feeds pigeons and loves kids ?
