That is so sad that your father couldn't show you very much affection when you were a boy. I think every child deserves to be loved and shown that they ARE loved very often. But I know what you are talking about, my father was really bad at showing any kind of affection. I can actually count on one hand the number of times he hugged me. Perhaps you are right, maybe you wouldn't have been as affectionate with boys had you not had the upbringing you did...or maybe you would have been even more affectionate had it been different. Oh well, you can't change the past but you can make the present something good.
