I plan on taking that prayer with me to church as a silent prayer when I run into all those lovely boys that are always there on Sunday. And of course when I go to the store, etc. One Sunday I was in church and one of the boys who is attractive to me sat right in front of me. I tried hard to keep my thoughts on the right tract but after a while I found myself fantisizing about him. Then I thought to myself, "I should keep in mind that this is someone that God loves just as much as He loves me. I should actually pray for him." Which is what I did. That helps probably more than anything, I think. Not that I am plagued by unwanted thoughts but they can come up when I least expect it or want them.

I appreciate your prayer and your devotional because it acknowledges the fact that we do have these thoughts and that they, in and of themselves, are not evil. It is what we do about them that is either evil or good. Thank you for this one my friend.
