What I shall never forget was that soon after a third party learned that I was a boylover, he warned my YF and his mother and threatened to report the fact to the police. The mother of my YF then started to drive him the 14 miles to visit me each day instead of my picking him up. Although it only occurred for a day or two, the gesture I felt was the best message she could possibly have sent to show her complete trust and appreciation.
