I think my YF likes to imagine himself a king, at times, and he has yet to learn to deal with all the wild emotions this attitude gets caught up in, in others and himself.

Pray that he'll come back across the ocean OK as Max did.

I didn't read the book, but the movie is a good story about a boy who has a tantrum, and whose imagination goes off investigating all the human relations problems that arise when people have various kinds of selfish attitudes mixed in with their attempts at love.
