I believe homosexuality should be recognized because it is the right thing to do. I don't believe that acceptance of homosexuality is going to have any effect on child abuse rates. The fact is that most child sexual abuse is perpetrated by individuals who actually prefer adult sexual partners. You are more likely to have an impact on child sexual abuse rates by implementing programs to help people out of the situations which lead to situational molestation: substance abuse, depression, and other mental illnesses.
