Hey Bigcalv,

I'm very glad to see you still around bro.... Godbless you.

I'm going to make some comments on your post.

"Adults who have sexual attractions towards children have a spiritual sickness called sin."

Yep... just like adults who do not have sexual attractions towards children. We are ALL sinners.
We are not sinners because of our sexual attractions.

"People mainifest this sickness in different ways e.g. hating and killing, stealing, sexual immorality etc..
The blood that was shed and the body that was broken is the cure for this sickness.
Jesus is the only answer."

Amen, Amen, Amen and Amen!
The answer that is Jesus means that I come into a relationship with God EVEN THOUGH I'm a sinner. Every part of my sinfulness that separates me from God is totally washed clean in the blood of Jesus. Now I can call God Father and know that, in Jesus, I'm a beloved son.

"Adults who act on these sinful desires permanently damage a child for life"

Whilst this may sometimes be true... I'm convinced that often times it is not true. I also think that we know deep down that sex is not always (or even mostly) harmful and that helps us give permission to ourselves to do it. For this reason I feel that it is important that we base our reason for abstaining on the requirements of holiness. When we do this, the harmfulness of sex is irrelevant. Even if it wasn't harmful, it's still not holy and is therefore forbidden.

"and this" (belief that sexing permanently damages a child) "is why i believe that society is so strongly opposed and angered by this type of sexual immorality.

I think that societys' reaction is based on a belief in the harmfulness of adult/child sexing. I also think people accept this without evidence or questioning and are happy to believe it, whether it's true or not.

"Our world is not very loving towards children - abortion, abuse, neglect etc.."

Whilst the world IS indeed full of unloving acts towards children... I also believe it's full of loving acts towards them. I'm sure that there are children everywhere that are loved and adored by their parents, family, friends, mentors, churches... etc. And I'm confident that many people work very hard to provide lovingly for the needs of children. AND I'm sure that boylovers make up a significant portion of those people.

"God has a special place in His heart for children."

In the light of Jesus' "let the children come to me and don't fobid them"... and His, "if anyone causes one of these little one's who believes in me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he be cast into the depths of the sea"...I'd say you are spot on.

Godbless you bro
Cat.
