Homosexuality is causing splits in protestantism

at least in the West. In the US, the election of a second gay bishop in the Episcopal (Anglican) church has caused a split, with a substantial break away group of 'Anglicans' now forming a new province which has attracted the support of many Anglicans worldwide. Similarly Presbyterian and Methodist churches are often tolerant of gay people in sexual relationships being ordained to the ministry in the US and UK.
