Yes I think you did very good THP and I really feel for you. In a way I felt angry on your behalf that the mother is basically asking you to do the backing off yourself but I think also you've probably done the only thing possible under the circumstances. Had I been in your position, thinking back through my own experiences, I would have run a mile already: but lucky for you you arent me and, so long as you realise that you are on a tightrope here, I really hope you can keep on being friends with this family.
