Welcome to our forum. It's great to have someone here with a different viewpoint.

So how can you behave in Godly ways with ungodly desires?

We all have ungodly desires; not just boy lovers, but all human beings. It is part of our sinful nature and to overcome those desires is part of our goal as Christians:

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Romans 7:21-25
So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

God never promised anyone that they would be free from temptations. He promised only that we would always have a way out of it:

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

It isn't lack of temptation that makes us Godly, it is what we do about those temptations; how we choose to live our lives.

You could ask the same question you asked of us to a straight person. They have the same manner of ungodly desires that we do. They too must face sexual desires for individuals they are not married to. The fact our desire is for boys and theirs is for men or women doesn't make one desire more ungodly than another, for the bible tells us that all sin is the same:

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

So, how can we behave in Godly ways despite the fact we have ungodly desires? The same way every other human being can, by trusting in the Lord and living our lives for him.
