Thankfully for guys like us, the man-made "church" and the "Christian world" (as you called it) have absolutely nothing to do with God. It's just another man-made subculture. But also, thankfully, God is very real and really does call for our worship and service. So those of us who really see and know the heart of God can serve him regardless of oppression from other Christians, and regardless of the hypocrisy that flows from our churches. I'm currently not attending a church either, and I don't feel guilty about that.

"Take what you've got and move forward" - absolutely that is what you should do. And what have you got? You have a relationship with Almighty God, and you have a relationship with a man who loves you. Both of those things are wonderful, and compatible. Rejoice in what God has blessed you with.
