Paying you disability is not optional. Talk to a lawyer, initial consultations are almost always free and they work on contingency which means they dont make any money unless you win the case, and then they'll charge social disability insurance directly. The only things that might come out of pocket are doctor visits which you will want to do anyway even if you arent suing.
