Always interesting to hear someone following a different way in.

I'd question the statement 'divorce is a sin'; the primary sin is divorce AND REMARRIAGE, which gets treated as adultery in the NT. But a breaking apart may be necessary for one or both parties, especially when there is domestic violence. As a result Christendom saw the concept of a legal 'separation' which offers a resolution of issues arising from the defunct marriage without allowing remarriage.

You offer a fascinating point about whether if a 10 year old can be held accountable by God and repent on his own behalf, this implies he is old enough to make a decision about a permanent sexual relationship. I'm not sure on what basis you are so sure that God does operate an 'age of accountability' - you may want to offer a separate thread on that. But the idea that a 10yo is really competent to understand the consequences of sexual activity is controversial in itself; I would argue that is almost always impossible - the emotional development isn't sufficient. By contrast the choice to 'follow Jesus' is a process of choosing day by day what is already know about.

Anyway, welcome aboard, and I hope you find this place an encouragement in your ministry.
