John 3:16
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 6:35-37
35Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. 36But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

As I go through life I have talked with so many different believers, people who have different views, life experience and beliefs about theology. There are so many issues that can divide or offend us if we allow it to. Whenever this happens to me in any way I like to read the “anyone who believes” scriptures, above are only two examples of the many that are found. It reminds me that we are all saved by the same blood that we are all in the same race running to the same goal. So that when there is something that might offend me or that I don’t agree with or in my own pride that would like to prove a point, I try to read and get my eyes back to where they need to be which is on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am truly thankful for what Jesus has done for me and I want to live for him and do what is right because of it. And being his servant is one very important part of belonging to him, so I will always offer my hand in love to my Christian family even when it is difficult for me. I just want to take this time and give Praise and Thanks to our Heavenly Father for this most Blessed gift Jesus His Son giving us a new life being born again into such a loving and caring family.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of your Son Jesus Christ. Help us not to focus on the things that can divide us but to focus on the things that will unite us in love and bring us together. Help us to put Jesus first in all that we do.
