That is exactly what I do when I am at church now. Sometimes I will get into a conversation with her husband and she will be standing right there with him, trying not to look at me or anything. But I just carry on with my conversation, as nice as can be, without showing a hint of it bothering me. The way I see it, she is the one who has a problem and I should pray for her and do whatever I can to be nice. No, that dosen't mean I am a doormat, it means that I am doing my best to be what God would want me to be in this situation. Yes it is a difficult thing to do, and Lord knows I won't do it perfectly, but it IS a worthwhile thing to practice.
