about 3 weeks ago i posted a message (please help me- please tell me) from which i got a lot of responses - of which some were really good, and which i took on board.

Anyway since then my relationship with my yf has only grown and has become stronger and more intrinsically rewarding... i dont want to get into every detail as i have so much respect for him. Even tho he is much younger i look up to him. His attitude is wonderful.

My dilemma now is that we last time i saw him , the whole evening , he wouldnt leave my side and i lost count of the number of times he either came up to me and touched me in a caring way or gave me a hug. Dont get me wrong it is wondeful, it made me think :
- he obviously likes me very much if not love me in his own little way.

what is he trying to tell me ?
- he now gives me big hugs when he arrives (it used to be only on departure) but also many more hugs during our time together.
- he now calls me by his own little nickname for me
- when he grabs my hand, it takes him longer to let go.
- he keeps reminding me to get us tickets for a football game in the city
- he keeps either asking me to take care of his belongings or to do something for him (trivial things really)

i can honestly say he makes the first moves etc

I work as a youth leader and know i am blessed to have met such a wonderful young boy - i must admit i think about him every day - when i told him i will be praying for him - he smiled and then took a deep swallow , as if he had no strength to talk to show his happiness.
I have been chosen by the church to be his prayer supporter ( i was so happy that it was him !)


what do you think he is trying to tell me ?
- are these all signs that HE LOVES ME ?
- is he telling me that he NEEDS a "local father" to trust (his mum lives with another man - while his real dad lives 4 hours away)

This is the first time in my life a boy (9 yrs old) has shown me such affection and attention. We have just bonded so well with each other - our hearts have entwinned into one , and to be honest , it feels so good.

I havent got to know his mum better as i havent seen her for a while - but i am longing to know how she feels about how well we bond ? and she has seen him come up to me and hug me. (any advice plse) ... i wonder if he talks about me , when he is at home ?
