I do not know if I fully understand this question, but feel it has to do with Time as we see, use and understand it. God is timeless, and to everything that happens in this world and to us, happens at a time that has been set. As I read in [Ecc.3:1-12]
Out of our hearts comes the Issues of Life and death, and I feel Youth, you have said it best in your post. [Pro.4:23] I have heard a few things that sounds ok to me like; "better to be a has been, than a never was." and like; "Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." And this seems to say that; "He who lives more lives than one, more deaths than one must die." From a philosophical point of view, I can find some truth in all this: But pointing to the Bible, I find at [Job,14;1-3] "man who is born of woman is of a few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower and fades away. He flees like a shadow and does not continue." -and God sees it all. I well know the love I have for boys and youngmen, as they grow to full manhood. -and that they will one day become fathers and maybe husbands.- and I feel; that; "There are depths in man that go to the lowest hell, and hights that reach the highest heaven. For are not both heaven and hell made out of him Everlasting miracle anfd mystery that he is." Carlyle. I have been away, and am happy to be back reading your many postings. Hi! to you all P.S.= I think the growth from boyhood to manhood is amazing. |
