I think that the human brain is a marvelously complex work of creation.
And God speaks to us via this brain which is a wonderful mystery all of its own. I certainly don't expect every person to have imaginaries neither do I recomend them to everyone. We all have our own style and grove which we share in common with some and difference with others. I beleive that's as it should be. That God has made us imaginative and creative is a help to His talking to us not a hinderance. He can give us visions and revelations or speak to us through dreams or even fantasys (look at all Jesus' parables). For me, some of this is intimately private but, I guess because my relationship with my imaginiaries is so prolific, much of it I'm willing to share. Some of my most significant prayer times have been with me praying alongside my imaginaries and all of us talking to God together. At the end of the day I recognise that its all aspects of me talking to my Father and that I am indeed "fearfully and wonderfully made" (psalm 139). Blessings Cat. |
