to take the most blatant example, it has now been established that the Appendix does have a role in the human body, as a store for good bacteria to replace ones lost from the gut in certain circumstances
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermiform_appendix#Possible_secondary_functions I suggest you go and study http://evidenceweb.net/index.php?pr=MainPage and http://www.creationresearch.net/enews/ENEWS1309-091119-darwins-glasses-UK.pdf to see some of the arguments that are being presented to challenge the consensus. But my core objection to evolution is what it says about our God. Aionios takes great exception to the idea of everlasting suffering imposed by God on people who at least deserve it. But he doesn't seem to worry about the billions of years of suffering imposed on animals in order for evolution to be the means of humans coming into the world. That just doesn't make sense to me; for a fuller discussion of this point see: http://www.amen.org.uk/cr/papers/WhatTypeOfGod.html Enjoy I agree all the loose ends in challenging evolution have not been tied up; on the other hand a lot more loose ends exist about evolution than most biologists are willing to admit. |
