In my life I have literally been surrounded by foul language all the time. I have been in the military and have had several shop-type jobs both before and after that. Plus my family was never in the habit of holding back when it came to the use of colorful language. It has been a very diffcult thing to try to eliminate that kind of language from my life and I have not been 100 percent succesful. But I keep trying because all the bad language does get old after a while. I get sick of it in the movies if it just seems like it is just thrown in and has nothing to do with the story or plot. The same goes for a novel. Sometimes four-letter words fit with the story, sometimes they don't. I just hate it when it seems like the writer or director threw them in to try and "spice up" a book or movie. The same goes for sex and violence, as far as I'm concerned. Some movies just have that kind of story line and those things are part of it; but sometimes it just seems like it is thrown in to try and make the movie more popular. I hate that.
