That's interesting. I recently heard about a situation at the other end of the spectrum. A boy using the term "pedophile" as an insult in the same way we would use the word "fag" when we were younger. Not because the other boy did anything pedophilic at all, but simply because it insults the person by calling them something that is viewed as very reprehensible.

I suppose in either case, it is good that the word is out there and being used by the next generation. It took much too long for me to discover that word and discovering it was an important piece of the puzzle in attempting to figure out who I am.
