I was separated from my dad until the end of the war and then went to boarding school aged 8 while my dad got to know my younger brother. For the rest of my childhood my father repeatedly called me by my brothers name. It really hurt though I don't think I ever showed it.

Possibly this is why I have been a boylover all my life but I would not wish for any other way, even though I went a bit astray as a young man.
