Too often we allow ourselves to dig ourselves into a hole struggling with life. Just occasionally we need to look up and gain a wider perspective, and looking at the stars especially can help with this. Sadly for those of us in cities, light pollution can make it hard to do, though when I do get to see them, it does make it all the more special.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the wonders of the heavens that we can enjoy. Thank you that they help us to get a better perspective on the lives we sometimes struggle with. May we learn to look up and glory in what you've done in this universe, and be reminded that one day all our pains will be past, you will wipe away every tear and we will be with you for ever.
