Christian BoyLove Forum #62053
Hi again Cat.
I going to be giving your questions some more thought, so don't take this post as a full answer. First, I want to say that definitely distinguish between deliberately fantasizing vs. involuntary sexual thoughts. So my earlier statement should be, more precisely "I don't think it would be right for me to even *deliberately* fantasize about having sex with anyone that I'm not married to". And yes, I do believe that marriage is the way to go for *most* people. There are, of course, those who "choose celibacy* for the sake of the kingdom of God" (*actually the Lord said "those who are eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of God", but I'm certain that he didn't mean literal eunuchs). That's not an easy life, but if it's their choice then God bless 'em. On the other hand, some people don't really choose celibacy, but simply aren't able to marry for one reason or another. Hence we get into questions like whether homosexual sex and masturbation are morally permissible -- issues which Christians are sadly divided over. Alright, that's all for now. God bless, |
