Actually my sleep apnea diagnosis is a correct one. I have already done a sleep study about a year ago and they discovered that I have severe apnea, actually waking many, many times unconsiously every night. It's like you can't breath because of obstructions in your throat when you fall asleep so your body struggles to get air and you kind of jump-start yourself awake. But you aren't completely awake because although you will have literally hundreds of these episodes durring the night, you don't remember them at all. But when I use the CPAP machine I will completely wake up every hour, which isn't good, either. I tried to use it again last night and the same thing was happening, so I took the mask off....again. Not a good night at all. As far as I know, I have had this for a very long time. Probably for years. I have never felt really good or rested in the morning, even when I was a kid, but within the last six or so years it has been getting a lot worse. Besides feeling like a total zombie during waking hours, I also suffer from some memory loss and high blood pressure, and all the things that go along with that. But I have no idea what my heart rate is when I wake up, I have never tried to measure it before. I don't know, I am so, so sick of being this tired all the time. BUT, like I told my friend today, I am determined to find a solution to this. I do not give up easily and I am trusting God for his guidance and help.
