Christian BoyLove Forum #62734
Here in your fellow commonwealth country, Canada, there would be no talk of pedophilia (other than yob slanging) for someone who was 16. In fact, you'd be able to marry your lover. (You might need your parents' permission, though, til 18; I'd have to look that up.) On the other hand, I always say I support the right of every teen person to completely reinvent his life whenever he needs to, and this is hard to do when you're married. I think the Lord may support you in keeping certain options open, even while you love and are loved. What do you think? The various Christian churches I've had dealings with in recent decades (United, MCC, and now CJAT) all support same-sex relationships in principle as valid and godly. Not everyone in these churches would find your situation easy to accept (though of course there would be minimal controversy at the BL-positive CJAT), but you wouldn't be put through the wringer at any of them. The world is friendlier than you think; it's just a little patchy. |
