I'll take into account what you've said, but I really don't get the impression that he's in any way upset about the situation. He seemed really friendly on both occasions we met, but I'll definitely be careful. I want to be friends with the parents, but I don't know how to go about it without seeming all businessman-like by calling them up and arranging to meet for coffee, dinner etc.
Is that a good idea? Or should I just do what I've always done (or plan to always do) and walk with J8 to meet his parent after school? I might also hint gently at meeting for another playdate on the weekend, but I don't think I'll be too forward until they've met me more often. Might I even invite them over to meet the parents?
