i think what you need to do is talk to management and see where their stance is. if you get someone with no backbone and willing to sacrifice you in a heartbeat then you need to find another place. if, however, they are willing to stand up for you for this trivial matter, then you should probably stay.

i know for a fact that not all places are like that so if things dont work out at your place, you'll be happier at another daycare.
