Like Godspell said, the older movies did tend to get away with more in the way they presented certain subject matter. Sometimes you would want to think it would be the other way around, but things were a little bit different back in 1976 when the origional Bad News Bears was made. I do like the remake or "lite" version, but I think the origional was a lot funnier.
