Go out into the world and prosper, make friends, get close to others who are willing to get close to you. But what other people think about you really is not your business for the most part. Do your best to keep your own side of the street clean, and things will fall into place as God intends it to.

Rejection is a cold, hard fact of life, I know how much it can sting. But handing out my serenity to a boy that I want to be a good friend to..... That course of action is not something I can condone. I hate to be the asshole who says it, but learning that and having it settle into my mind has led to great spiritual growth within myself.
