Yeah, it's too bad that most kids nowadays have no idea what really excellent music is all about. If you mention a band like the J. Geils Band they usually just give you that blank look with a big question mark. It's too bad too because bands like that were so sweet! Magic Dick was incredible. I just love Whammer Jammer, as well as pretty much everything else that J. Geils did. I've had their "Blow Your Face Out Live" CD in my car now for so long it is pretty much a part of the car. It was in the CD player for months before I finally decided to switch it out for something else. I don't know if I could ever play like Magic Dick but I am going to give it my all and see what happens. If anything it will be fun and who knows what it will lead to. Here is some swinging older Blues harp playing by Sugar Blue...dig it!
