Like I said I have not read any of his books after the last Darktower book came out but I heard of "Under the Dome" and I am not surprised. So is a boy a main character and/or there is a strong man/boy relationship in it?

I have mostly decided to read other authors since I spent so much of my time on King for so many years. I've been reading much more classic Science Fiction like Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven, Arthur C. Clarke, even some farther back like some H.G. Wells.

Yes alcoholism is another recurring theme is SK books and that is from a problem with it in his own past. That reinforces my idea that the theme of boys in his books is also something to do with him as well.
