"Les Amities Particulieres" or "This Special Friendship"

it's about a teen who falls in love with a younger boy at a catholic school. The fathers ruin everything, of course (no plot giveaway there tbh). I thought it was sensitively and lovingly handled. The young boy was played by a certain Didier Haudepin who left me mesmerized by his performance. It reminded me -rather too sadly, why I fell in love with a boy, of all creatures...and why I still can't forget him.
