I liked Justin Bieber back when he was a youtube star. He was already too old for me to find him attractive by then, but I really liked his voice and way of singing. When his cd came out, I really dug his first singles (until the songs got played way too much on the radio and I got tired of them). Now I don't much care for him, but I keep up with the news about him because my best bl friend is a big fan.

Personally, I don't really get celebrity worship; it just makes no sense to me. I've known BLs who are obsessed over some boy celebrity or another and I've just never been able to relate. I've never seen a celebrity I would prefer over any of the boys I actually know in person. It's not as if they are somehow better than the people I already know and I don't get why the fact they are on tv makes them better some people.

As far as the things you've come up with about Justin Bieber, I think you are jumping to a lot of conclusions based on practically nothing. The Vanity Fair cover you complained about does feature him wearing a lot of lipstick...in the form of girl's kiss impressions all over his face and shirt. The lamborghini "gift" you claim diddy gave him turns out to be nothing but a skit in a youtube clip. The "Shawtee Mane" thing? Nothing but a joke video he made for comedic value. Yeah, he's marketing lipstick, he's marketing a lot of things to girls since that is his audience. You're really making a big deal about a lot of stupid little things. I don't see any of the things you see.
