It was years ago when my YF and I were doing literally everything together. It got to the point where if you saw him you would see me too. And where I was, so was he. He stayed weekends with me pretty much every other weekend. It became a common occurence and everyone I knew knew about it because I couldn't hide it. And I really didn't try. Sometimes there were questions about who he was and why he was with me, then I would simply answer that he was the son of a good friend and he and I love to spend time together. People were usually ok with that. I would keep it as simple as I could to try to avoid further questions and that worked quite well for me. But that was then and this is now and times they have a changed. Maybe what worked for me back then wouldn't work today...I don't know.
