I also have been strongly affected by the misfortune of boys I have never and will never meet. The brother of the girl who was shot in Tuscon is an example. Of course I feel for the girl who died. But she is with God and he is left with only the sorrow. There was a picture of him at the funeral where he was wiping away a tear as his father looked down on him with compassion in his eyes. It almost made me cry. This is a side of blers others never see or even believe exists. The public sees us as monsters looking only to satisfy our carnal desires with the innocent. When in truth, most of us care more than anyone could possibly realize.
