First of all, welcome to CBLF. You are indeed welcome here. I have only a little to add to what was already said by Eldad and Blackstone. You know, you don't have to join a church to come back to God or to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. All you need to do is pray and believe in your heart that it is true. You say you are the prodigal son, well you remember what happened to the prodigal son in the parable, right? His father welcomed him back home with loving arms and went way out of his way to make him feel welcome. I believe God will do the same for you. It is good to belong to a church, a community of believers, but that can come in due time. It might take some time to find the right church but I'm sure it is out there waiting for you. In the mean time you are certainly welcome here. I think both Eldad and Blackstone gave you some excellent advice and also I think that our upcoming Bible study would help a lot. I have done a study with that book a few years ago and it was very helpful to me, so I intend to do it again in here.
