I don't see why there wouldn't be any children in the next life. They would be different from the children we know since these would be born without a sinful nature, but surely there would still be children.

As to whether you can be one of them...I don't know that's kind of a stretch. Perhaps a better question would be would you still long to be one? I believe the answer is no. I think that whatever mental issues you might have now that lead you to desire to be something other than what you are would be resolved in the next life and you would be happy as the person God made you.
