I don't think it is that tragic for him. He was playing baseball one moment and the next he was beginning his new life in a far more exciting and better place.

I feel for his family though. There was no time to prepare or come to terms with the possibility, he was simply gone from one moment to the next. I can't imagine how terrible that must feel. I also feel for the kid who threw the deadly pitch; it will probably haunt him for a long time no matter how much he is told it was not his fault.
