I always remember going to a cathedral service (in UK) some years back. Boys sing the treble part in the English cathedrals and the standard of the choir is always stunningly professional: often very close to perfection . . .. On this particular day, I'm not sure why, the singing was so beautiful I just couldnt cope with it and had to come away: I was so close to collapsing in a blubbering heap.
I always have to geer myself up to listen to a choir with boys in it. sort of steel myself.
