It's not often that we see exactly eye to eye Eldad but I think you are completely right. There is, at a slightly deeper level perhaps, a circular argument here that may or may not be worth pointing out. Just as the relationship, which may seem something good and even life-giving to the young partner at the time, is inevitably manipulative - whether the older partner intends it to be so or not - so does the wholely negative view that society takes (presuming that the relationship is over) colour the younger partner's view retrospectively. I say "presuming the relationship is over" because sexual relationships, in hindsight, almost always become a "problem". There is - deep in the natural order of things I think - a yearning for a 'partner for life'. It isn't just there in swans and penguins. . . . .
