I think you may be misunderstanding what I mean by "resist the term gay." What I mean is that many people define "being gay" according to preconceived ideas of how they think gay men act or associate it with their idea of "the gay lifestyle". So if they do not fall neatly into what they think it means to be gay (or what they think other think being gay is about) then they, like yourself, say "hey, I'm not gay...that doesn't describe me at all." And in that sense, they (and you) are correct. But I guess what I am saying is that, all stereotypes aside, being "gay" simply means that you are a male who is physically and/or sexually attracted to other males. The only thing that makes us different is that we are attracted to males who are under the age of 18. Therefore, by definition we are gay, whether we like it or not. That said, I fully understand why you do not think of yourself as gay and why you would therefore choose not to label yourself as such.
