i - babylon the great revealed

Revelation 17:18 - And this woman our Lord’s apostle John saw in his vision while exiled on the island of Patmos (the woman upon whose forehead is written this mysterious thing: “Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.”) represents the great city that rules over the kings of the world.

According to what must surely be one of modern-day Christendom’s shallowest interpretations of the Book of Revelation the sacrilegious woman whom John saw drunk with the blood of God’s holy people can only represent a world empire of false religion as the only two other alternative explanations – a commercial empire and a political empire - can be ruled out after even a casual reading of what John was instructed to set in words.

While it is certainly true that the reading just described is very much a giant leap taken albeit unwittingly toward comprehending what that sacrilegious woman shown to John actually represents, those who are taught to perceive Babylon the Great as a world empire of false religion are obliged to accept this outlook as de facto, and as such their understanding of what is a very profound theocratic issue develops no further, if indeed it ever develops at all.

Surprisingly, the really curious thing about Babylon the Great is this: everyone the world over knows exactly what this great city is even if they themselves think they do not, for so sly is Babylon the Great that she hides in plain sight of the entire world knowing very few of its inhabitants – those who toil for this great city included - can see her for what she really is: the god of this world’s global system of counterfeit justice.


ii - adultery then and now

Revelation 17:2 - The kings of the world have committed adultery with Babylon the Great, and the people who belong to this world have been made drunk by the wine of her immorality.

In order to develop a thorough understanding of the profound theocratic issue which the previous section suggests is in some way connected with Babylon the Great, it becomes necessary to acknowledge that even though everyone these days thinks adultery is nothing other than an illicit liaison which often ruins a co-existing legitimate relationship, it should also be borne in mind that within antiquated contexts the word adultery sometimes refers to an act of debasing that which is pure by contaminating it with that which is spurious.


iii - the criminally-minded decriminalise murder

Romans 13:1 - Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.

In these, the very last days of the god of this world’s system of things, the kings of the world have allowed themselves to be seduced so entirely by Babylon the Great that under her duplicitous counsel they have finally been encouraged to abandon all that remains of their once consecrated duty by permitting those hard-hearted women who wish to choose to abdicate motherhood when motherhood becomes inconvenient to solicit legislators to revise the statute books in such a way that the murders such women intend to commit are no longer recognised as actual crimes but as routine medical procedures commonly called abortion.

Even though pro-lifers continue with indefatigable resolve to campaign against abortion being made available to any pregnant woman who demands it, this piece of sacrilegious pro-choice legislation still finds its way into the statute books of jurisdictions the world over despite laws safeguarding human beings from murder already being in place.

While the blind eyes of evil doers everywhere turn away from what remains of a body of law put in place by God Almighty to protect us all from harm and imbue us all with a deep and lasting respect for our Father’s nourishing ways, the kings of the world – together with so-called experts from such fields as psychology and biology – convince the ungodly that a human being below a certain level of in utero development is not in fact either a viable human being or indeed a human being at all but just a vaguely formed clump of cells which can therefore be destroyed with the kind of absolute impunity not accorded to anyone else who conspires to terminate human life.

Is it any wonder that these days any relationship the kings of the world once had with Jehovah God has been irrevocably destroyed by their own ruinous response to Babylon the Great’s flirtatious ways – to change the legal definition of what it means to be human in order to allow the world-wide systematic killing of citizens so disenfranchised they no longer have the most fundamental of all human rights: the right to life itself?


iv - moloch by any other name would smell no sweeter

Acts 10:42 - And Jesus ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that he alone is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all – the living and the dead.

The word Babylon is derived from the Akkadian word Babilani which means “the gateway of the gods”. It is through Babylon the Great that the god of this world’s advocate – the one known to Christians and unbelievers alike as the antichrist – will take possession of the ungodly and lead them to worship the one who believes he alone has the right to say who lives and who dies: our accuser - Moloch, the god of this world.

Even now, many antichrists are preparing the way for the antichrist by corrupting the law in such a way that it can be used to put to death even the Holy ones of God Almighty, who are blameless and free from lies.
