The first rule of job hunting is to use your social networks; for Christians this should mean our churches as the first point of call. So I'd encourage you to let people at church know your situation and ask for their help looking. And you may also have other activities that generate contacts that you haven't thought of; again let people know you are looking.

Don't be so certain that unemployment will remain unavailable. Whilst there may be a delay because you quit without cause, I suspect eventually you become eligible for it. Of course different jurisdictions vary - but worth a check.

Even if the state doesn't provide financial support, it may well offer help in looking for a job. So again, it's worth a conversation with the office.

The other old saw in this situation is: 'Be willing to take anything'. Even if it pays really badly, it's likely to open up other opportunities.
