I'm sorry, but this film is just another whitewash of the gospel. Even putting aside all the historical errors, how they botched the relationship between Rome and Jerusalem, how they failed to show any difference between the Pharisees and the Saducees, and how they showed Jesus as just some guy, ignoring the fact he is a rabbi. Even if we ignore all of that, we are still left with a Jesus that was for all intents and purposes white. yes, the actor is Brazilian, but the look is white. Jesus was a Jew of Arab descent, he should have looked no different from the actors who played the pharisees.
