sometimes i feel like i have raised several kids. the phrase it takes a village to raise a child has applied to me in that i feel like i have been enough of a guidance in many kids lives, especially with the lack of interest from most parents in their children save for the most dedicated ones.

i feel like i have raised older children, teens, and some are now nearing adulthood.

it's rewarding to see the effect i've had and yes i am bragging a bit.

however it's also made me tired and sometimes i wonder if i really want to be a parent myself anymore. it is such a thankless job and some days these lovely boys are such jerks.
