Jesus was tempted. Jesus did not sin. Therefore to be tempted by X is not to be 'condemned' by the bible. It's the person who succumbs to the temptation that is to be condemned, not the person trying to resist the temptation. That the sin to which we are tempted gets a particularly negative treatment in the bible doesn't mean those who are tempted by it are any worse than other sinners.
It is sad that your superficial knowledge of the bible is not matched by an understanding of how God works. I suggest you try to get to the point of 'knowing' God - rather than just spouting bible verses at people. "“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Mt 7 |
