His core approach is, as I've said, to deliberately turn the focus to God. That is made easier by looking for mystical experiences and developing the skill to shift to that focus. This is something Protestantism has largely lost; we tend to a one dimensional experience of God. The book offers some starting points for developing those skills, as well as wider discussions about how to build the relationships that in practice feed the needs that otherwise come out as sezual hunger.
