Your response seemed to suggest that believing the creed is all that is necessary to be a Christian - independent of your lifestyle choices / sexual activity. My point was not about homosexuality per se, but about the need live in a way that seeks to reject all sin. Of course we do still succumb - but we start from a recognition that such events are falls from how God wants us to live. I wasn't hearing that in your reply; if I'm merely overreacting in the circumstances that's my bad, and I apologise.
My point is that somewhere along the line sexual activity becomes a sin; the only question is where. Do you agree? And would you agree a permanent relationship - 'marriage' is the only place for sexual activity for a Christian. We can then debate whether marriage must be between a man and a woman! |
