Welcome, Nash

You are certainly not the Lone Ranger when it comes to a struggle with boylove! Most of us here experience the same struggle, and that's why we are here. We are here to support and help each other. Of course it's not wrong to love a boy! The wrong part is when it becomes sexual, and that's where we have to help and support each other.

You said that you were saved in 1987. If you gave your heart to God then, you are still a Christian. If you are a Christian, then your sins are all forgiven; past, present and future! Isn't that great!? John 3:16 tells us that WHOSOEVER believes in him will NOT perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE! None of us are GOOD Christians. Even Jesus said in Luke 18:19, "...Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." So, no matter what we have done, Jesus paid the price for our sins by living a perfect life and dying in our place on the cross.

I am a school bus driver, Nash, and I have had the same struggles with my sexual feelings for boys; but you know what? The closer I become with them in mentoring and advising them, the less sexual, and the more loving my feelings become. I am very close with many of them, and get hugs from them every day. I have developed a satisfying and peaceful feeling from my contact with them, and love them very much. (the girls, too!) Try it! You might LIKE it!

I am going to keep you in my prayers, Nash, and ask God to help you with your problem with alcohol, as well as your sexual feelings toward boys.

God's peace, love and grace be with you,
Andy
